Whole systems, built end to end.

A client comes to us with a problem in how their business runs. We work out what is actually happening, design something that fixes it, build it, and hand it over working. Most engagements run from a few weeks to a few months.

The six areas

01

AI systems

Agents, retrieval and language applications that do real work inside a business rather than in a demonstration.

Systems that take action and escalate what they cannot handle. Question answering over your own documents and records, with access control enforced at retrieval. Extraction from invoices, contracts, forms and scans, checked against business rules before anything is written to a system of record.

AI agents · Retrieval & knowledge systems · LLM applications · Messy document processing · Agent access layer · Small models & cost routing · Voice agents

02

Product engineering

The interfaces people actually use.

Internal tools & operational web apps · Human-in-the-loop review dashboards · Operator & oversight consoles · AI product interfaces · Apps inside AI assistants · Prototype to production · Accessibility remediation

03

Automation & integration

Connecting the systems you already run, so nobody reconciles anything by hand.

System plumbing & integration · Workflow automation · Integration into daily tools · Computer-use automation

04

Data & analytics

The platforms, pipelines and definitions that reporting and AI both depend on.

Data platforms & warehousing · Pipelines · Big data & analytics engineering · Business intelligence · Data quality & governance · Data contracts · Semantic & context layer

05

Cloud, delivery & engineering practice

The foundation everything runs on, and the pipeline that gets it there verifiably.

Foundations: zero to production · Cloud architecture · Delivery pipelines · MLOps · Operational readiness · Sovereign & private AI deployment · CRA-ready delivery · Portability & exit · Cryptographic inventory · Coding-agent rollout · Harness engineering · Delivery measurement

06

AI governance & compliance

The documentation, logging and oversight that let you evidence what your systems do.

Conformity-ready build & governance setup · Article 50 transparency build · Decision records & human review

How an engagement runs

Four phases. The same four on every project, regardless of which area the work sits in.

  1. 01

    Scoping.

We establish what the system will do, what data it touches, and what it will be permitted to act on. If the request cannot be built safely, or cannot be built well within the scope available, we say so here rather than halfway through.

  2. 02

    Design.

Architecture and threat model, written down. Decisions recorded with the reasoning attached, so the system arrives with its history rather than as something nobody can explain.

  3. 03

    Build.

Against our published engineering standard. Every merge reviewed by a second engineer. Every release with signed provenance and a dependency inventory.

  4. 04

    Handover.

The system in repositories you own, with documentation, a threat model, a security review record, a runbook, and a working session with your team.

You own all of it. None of it is contingent on continuing to work with us.

Most projects draw on more than one

A retrieval system needs the data underneath it to be trustworthy. An agent needs somewhere for a person to supervise it. A pipeline needs an environment that can be rebuilt from source.

We take on the whole thing rather than the part that matches a single heading, because a system that exists in only one of these areas does not run in production.

Fixed price, agreed before we build.

  1. Know before you commit

Every engagement starts with scoping. At the end of it you get a written scope and a fixed price — before any build starts.

  2. The price holds

The price is set against the written scope. If something needs to change, we agree it with you in writing before the work begins.

  3. Yours to keep

The code, the infrastructure and the runbooks are yours at handover. No lock-in, and nothing contingent on continuing to work with us.

Questions

We scope the work first, then give you a fixed price against a written scope.

Tell us what you're building.

Describe the problem in your own words. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.
